The site is published by Anders Hjortnæs, Denmark. It is independent and is not affiliated with EIA, Berkeley Lab, EU JRC, the Census Bureau or any utility.

Our data

We use EIA electricity data, Berkeley Lab Tracking the Sun installed prices, EU JRC PVGIS solar production estimates and Census place data. Data is refreshed periodically and may contain errors. Confirm information with the official source and your utility before relying on it. Read our sources and methods.

The solar calculator processes your inputs locally in your browser.

Ads and affiliate links
